Tomorrow is the last day of work before Thanksgiving. I've made a batch of Whoopie Pies for my co-workers. I'm trying a new recipe Spiced Pumpkin with Cream Cheese Filling.
1 package (18 1/4 ounces) yellow cake mix
1 package (4 serving size) vanilla instant pudding mix
1 canned pumpkin
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup water
1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat all ingredients together and spoon onto greased whoopie pie pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
3 1/2 cups confectioner sugar
4 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 stick butter at room temperature
Beat all ingredients together.
